Lisa is commissioned on a regular basis by New progress Housing Corp to design murals and canvas art with the statutory homeless residents in supported housing schemes in Lancashire.  The residents involvement is part of supporting people social inclusion framework.

 

 Lisa has worked in partnership with various agencies and the Local Authorities to involve the commuinty and raise awareness about Domestic Violence, Drug awareness, Environmental issues to name but a few. She is an experienced community workshop artist and has worked as an artist in residence in Schools and in Galleries and museums. She is available on a freelance basis and is committed to delivering a professional service.  Her work with local disadvantaged youth's in locally recognised.  Her teaching philosophy is a balance of presenting aesthetics and technical information to motivate students to develop their personal vision in art:

"By keeping an open communication with students, we can exchange information anf form  ideas to heighten peoples interest and spark intellectual curiosity.  My contribution in the classroom is to make the space attractive and thought provoking, providing guidance, extend learning and to constantly seek activities that promote personal growth in people to bring out the best in them". Lisa produces sample work to motivate students and lesson plans to ensure the learner receives support and format.
